Responsible Exotic Keeping 101

Thinking about a bearded dragon, a flock of lovebirds, or a hedgehog? This afternoon seminar at the SM Lanang Premier events room covers what responsible exotic keeping actually looks like in the Philippines: which species are legal to keep and how registration works under wildlife regulations, realistic enclosure and diet costs, finding an exotics-competent vet in Mindanao, and the ethics of sourcing.

Speakers include a DENR-accredited wildlife veterinarian and long-time keepers from the Davao herp and avian communities, with live (secure) animal ambassadors for supervised viewing. The ₱300 fee includes a care-sheet bundle and a directory of Davao-area exotic vets and suppliers. Attendees are asked not to bring their own animals — this session is for the humans to level up first.
